We are currently looking for candidates for the following internship opportunity.

Job Description

1.    Company Information

Euronet Consulting is both a pan-European group of cutting-edge consultancy companies and a global network consisting of carefully vetted partners in Official Development Assistance (ODA) countries.

The group was established in 1990 as a coordination hub for the management of joint operations in a broad number of thematic sectors. Over time, it evolved to become a means by which services of member companies have been made readily available to major international donors, primarily the Commission of the European Union.

This has involved the implementation of several Framework Contracts, the aim of which is to organise short-term missions to identify, prepare, monitor and evaluate projects in a wide variety of professional fields.

In over 20 years of operations, Euronet Consulting and its members have organised well over 4000 such missions to 150 countries in the Asian, Africa, Latin American and European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) regions.

2.    Tasks

The intern will work closely with the Project Manager and the Business Development Manager assisting them in planning and execution of a broad range of activities. The intern will, after being acquainted with our activities, be in charge of the acquisition phase of technical assistance projects

His or her main duties will include the identification of suitable professionals for the assignments described in specific Terms of Reference ToR that Euronet receives on a weekly basis from the European Commission (the Client).

In the second phase of the internship period, we expect that the intern will be able to:

(i) perform the analysis of Terms of Reference (ToR) for specific Request for Services (RfS);

(ii) research, contact, assess and recruit experts;

(iii) engage in financial negotiation;

(iv) enhance CVs, prepare short presentations;

(v) prepare financial offers;

(vi) submit the offers and ensure the follow-up with external managers, partners and experts.

The tasks can be extended to other fields and activities and are not limited to, such as

- Databases maintenance and update;

- Website maintenance and continuous update (WordPress).

3.    Requirements

- A master’s degree (at least a Bachelor’s degree). If related to cooperation for development, transports, infrastructure or environment would be an asset. ;

- Fluent in English (written and spoken), French is a strong asset.

 4.    Aadditional information: This unpaid internship will last at least 3 months. However, Euronet will cover the public transport costs of your monthly STIB transport subscription during your stay at Euronet Consulting.

Please note that the eligible candidates must be students who can benefit from a scholarship or another financial agreement with their university.

5.    Location: Brussels, Belgium.
